High winds cause cancellation of Peru State College's women's golf invite

PERU - The Peru State women’s golf invitation scheduled today and Friday , April 8, has been canceled due to wind.

A wind advisory was issued for portions of southeast Nebraska on Wednesday, where gusts up to 55 mph are expected. A second wind advisory is issued until 7 p.m. Thursday.

The Pioneer Track Invitation at Nebraska City is also canceled.
