AUBURN – An arrest warrant has been issued for a Nebraska City man who failed to appear in court for sentencing.

Court records say in November a jury found Eric Shipley, 32, guilty of possession. A Nemaha County sheriff’s deputy made a Highway 75 traffic stop near the Peru corner and says meth residue was found on a scale in the vehicle.

Shipley denied possession of the scale.

Shipley is charged with felony failure to appear while on bail. A warrant for his arrest was issued March 23.
