Omaha Police investigating Sunday morning cutting incident

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Omaha Police Department is investigating a cutting incident that sent two people to the hospital Sunday morning.

According to Omaha Police, officers were dispatched at 5:46 a.m. Sunday in response to a cutting incident near 37th and V Street.

Upon arrival, they found one cutting victim who was then transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police say two pregnant women at the scene were also transported for signs of stress.

Officers said several other minor assaults occurred at the incident as well.

A second cutting victim was found shortly after in a house near 33rd and X Street and then transported to a hospital for treatment.

The incident is under investigation.
