New administrator on Falls City agenda

FALLS CITY – The Falls City City Council will consider the appointment of a new city administrator at its 6 p.m. meeting on Monday, March 21.
The agenda includes appointment of Sandra Ferris as interim administrator and Anthony Nussbaum to the post full time at $85,000 a year.
The agenda also includes a community cleanup April 21-24, hiring of summer employees and the creation of a personnel committee.
Cindy Santo of the Green Team is asking the city to sponsor the community cleanup.
At its March 7 meeting, the council waived the auditorium fee for Prichard Auditorium for a Falls City Volunteer Ambulance Service spaghetti feed on Sept. 18.
The council also approved the hiring of a sixth dispatcher as recommended by Chief Baker.
Nussbaum is housing director at Southeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership and a Falls City Housing Authority.
