Relentless enforcement: Parrish house searched for third time

FALLS CITY – An overnight raid of Wanda Parrish's McLean Street residence yielded new conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine charges.

Parrish, who is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday on a possession charge, is already serving an 18-month probation sentence.
She was arrested in March of 2021 after a search of her Stella residence. Court records say while she was being booked at Falls City, she pulled two bags of methamphetamine from her bra, each weighing over a gram.

She was on probation in February, when her McLean Street residence was searched. She was among five people detained.
Also arrested Thursday at the McLean Street house was 34-year-old Chase Ramer, who is scheduled for pre-trial hearing later this month on a August possession charge.
Ramer was placed on 18 months probation in June of 2019 for attempted possession. A court order discharged him from probation about six months later.
In that case, Judge Julie Smith ruled that “further efforts for rehabilitation and supervision … will be impractical and of no further benefit.”

Kimberly Hoagland, 34, of Humboldt also faces new charges. She is serving a year probation sentence for tampering with a witness and attempted possession in 2020.
The sheriff’s office obtained a warrant to search Hoagland’s personal property saying an informant had confessed to buying meth on 20 occasions and named Hoagland and a source. She was never convicted of a delivery charge.
