Fatality reported on Highway 2

Update: The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office has identified the woman killed in the Monday morning accident on Highway 2 as 39-year-old Heidi Parrish of Talmage.

An Associated Press report says Parrish lost control of her pickup truck near Palmyra and collided with another pickup.

At the time of the crash, Nebraska 511 showed that Highway 2, between southeast Lincoln and Nebraska City, was partially covered in snow.
