Deadly crash in western Douglas County

One person was reported killed and another injured after a crash at 264th and Blondo in western Douglas County Thursday morning.

OMAHA, Neb. -- One person was reported killed and another injured after a crash at 264th and Blondo in western Douglas County Thursday morning.

Reporters from news partner WOWT observed one car overturned at the scene. First responders earlier reported that the car had been on fire briefly.

The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. south of Valley and West of Waterloo.

The intersection is controlled by stop signs for traffic traveling on Blondo.

While a team investigated the scene, first responders had the roads shut down up to one mile in every direction.
