Prison ordered in Otoe County meth case

NEBRASKA CITY – Alexander Janeke, 26, of Lincoln was sentenced to six to 18 months in state prison for possession of methamphetamine on Feb. 4.

The sentence is to be served after the completion of a sentence Janeke is serving in Lancaster County for burglary.

The  sentence is expected to add nine months to Janeke’s tentative release date.

Court records say a Nebraska state trooper found a cut lock, burglar’s tools, multiple Social Security cards and a bucket of copper after a traffic stop.
