Water, taxes town hall set at Nebraska City

Governor Ricketts discussing flows of South Platte River and maintaining income tax refund for property tax relief

LINCOLN - Gov. Pete Ricketts has scheduled at water and taxes town hall at the Lewis and Clark visitors center in Nebraska City from 4 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18.

The governor is talking about flows of the South Platte River and his tax plans.

The Nebraska City town hall will follow visits at Gering in Ogallala on Feb. 15.

The governor’s legislative priorities include limiting state budget growth, maintaining the income tax credit and investing $23 million to repair the Ft. Laramie – Gering irrigation canal and building a new canal to tap into South Platte River flows in Colorado.
