Groundhog's Day parade set Feb. 5 at Unadilla

UNADILLA – The Groundhog Day Celebration is scheduled at Unadilla on Saturday, Feb. 5.

The 34^th annual event will feature the first winter prediction for Unadilla Billie. The renowned Unadilla Bill retired last year after he saw his shadow and erroneously predicted an early spring.

Unadilla Bill will be available for photos at 8 a.m. and Unadilla Billie will be available at Main Street for photos at 10 a.m. The Ford Falcon, which was introduced on groundhogs’s day in 1959, will also be on display.

The parade is scheduled at 2 p.m.

The king and queen coronation has been postponed until 2023.
