Search of Malvern residence yields $50,000 in stolen property
Sheriff says over a dozen theft crimes have been solved

GLENWOOD – The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Malvern man and recovery of $50,000 in stolen property.
A sheriff’s office press release says deputies were able to close over a dozen burglaries and thefts dating back to July with the search warrant at the Second Avenue residence in Malvern on Jan. 24.
Christopher Nicholas Smith, 34, was held on a $74,000 cash bond.
Recovered items include several mowers, ATVs, dirt bikes, lumber and construction tools.
