Defense played key factor in Plattsmouth-Syracuse doubleheader

Syracuse senior Lily Vollertson led all scorers at halftime with ten points, as the lady Rockets dominated the first half and led 37-9.
Plattsmouth's offense came alive in the second half, with senior Lyndsey Caba. Caba scored all nine of her points in the second half, but the deficit was too much to overcome. Syracuse cruised to a 57-26 win in the opening match-up.
