Authorities in Southeast Nebraska say a deer was the cause of a rollover accident that left one person injured.

The Cass County Sheriff's office says the crash happened Thursday morning on Bluff Road near Murdock.

The Sheriff's Office says a car was driving on Bluff Road when the driver swerved to miss a deer.

The car then lost control and rolled into the ditch.

The driver was taken to the hospital in Lincoln for their injuries.

Speed is not believed to be a factor and seatbelts were in use.
