Discovery of stolen pickup leads to meth arrest at Nebraska City
Police say bag with 28 grams of meth found in search of First Corso residence
NEBRASKA CITY – Police’s discovery of a stolen vehicle in Nebraska City has led to the arrest of a Nebraska City pair on charges of delivery of methamphetamine.
A police officer identified a Dodge Ram pickup that had been reported stolen out of Omaha and noticed a car circling the block. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Glen Tovar of Brift, Iowa.
Investigators also sought a search warrant for the driver of the car Tovar was in.
The Nebraska State Patrol joined police Jan. 3 serving a search warrant at 1218 First Corso.
Court records say tools linked to a theft at an Omaha repair shop were found, as well as a bag containing 28 grams of meth and an electronic scale.
Lara Ureste, 35, and Kenneth Pinzino, 33, are suspected of possession with intent to deliver, receiving stolen property and child abuse.
Tovar is suspected of felony theft.
