Teens injured when Sonic hits cow

WEEPING WATER - The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports an injury accident Monday evening after a 16-year-old driver hit a cow.

The cow was in the path of a Chevrolet Sonic driven on Highway 34 near Weeping Water.

A medical helicopter took the teen to Bergan Mercy Hospital for her injuries. Nehawka Rescue took a 16-year-old passenger, the driver’s sister, to the Omaha hospital.
