Some still without power as cold sets in
Richardson County sheriff urges residents to check on each other to make sure people have a warm place to go
AUBURN - The National Weather Service has storm damage survey teams in the area over the weekend.

Nemaha County Emergency Management reports that nearly 400,000 acres in Kansas have been impacted by wildfire due to the December wind storm and drought conditions.
As of Sunday morning, the Omaha Public Power District outage map shows 34 outages in Nemaha County. Outages a reported from Coryell Park to Highway 75 and west of Auburn.
The Nebraska Public Power District reports outages at Table Rock.
Falls City Utilities reported a three-minute outage on Saturday as they switched by to OPPD power supply. There were still power poles being replaced around town.
The utility asked people to conserve electricity over the weekend, including turning off decorative Christmas lights.
The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office posted Sunday morning that some people in the county are still without electric power. The sheriff’s office urges residents to check on one another to make sure people have a warm place to go.
The Falls City airport reported a low temperature Sunday of 13 degrees.
