NEBRASKA CITY – Grimm’s Gardens is hosting a University of Nebraska forester for its February “Talkin’ Dirt” group meeting.

Heather Nobert, who works with the Nebraska Forest Service through the university, will present on the Biochar Initiative.

A small biochar oven is planned for an outdoor presentation at 9 a.m. on Feb. 17. The discussion will be indoors at the 11th Street garden center.
