NEBRASKA CITY- Although Lourdes Central Catholic came up short in the Class D1 playoffs, the Knights ended the 2021 season with record numbers across the board on the offensive side of the ball. 

The Knights broke team records for points per game (60.45 compared to the previous 48.7 set in 2015) and yards per game (429.9 compared to 394.6 in 2015).

Senior Blake Miller broke four single season records (yards per game, touchdown passes, completion percentage, and punt average). 

Lourdes Central Catholic also came away with nine career records broken in 2021. Miller and Aidan Aldana broke the point scoring records with 494 for Miller and 344 for Aldana. The previous was 342 by Kyle Francois in 2015. 

Miller (68) and Aldana (49) both also broke total touchdowns in Lourdes Central Catholic school history. 

Miller added some more school records to his name with career yards (3,517), pass completions (230), passing touchdowns (54), and completions percentage (63%).

Joe Kearney also broke the record for career punt return yards with 523 yards. 

Miller and Aldana are joined alongside Beau Lee, Kearney, Ryan Roberts and Will Funke as Class D1-2 First Team All-District. 

Caleb Howard, Jared Valdovino, Michael Bequette, and Zach Tesarek received All-District Honorable Mention.
