NORFOLK, Neb. -- Two people are facing charges after a traffic stop in northeast Nebraska. 

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped a car Tuesday afternoon on Highway 24 East of Norfolk for driving recklessly. 

During the stop, authorities say a passenger tossed drugs out of the window. 

Thirty-four-year-old Andrew Paulsen of Tilden was arrested and is now facing a felony drug charge. 

The driver, 57-year-old Timothy Payne of Norfolk was cited for reckless driving and possession of marijuana.
