FALLS CITY – Rhonda Cooper, 60, of Humboldt was sentenced to two years probation for possession of methamphetamine after county prosecutors dropped 14 weapon charges.
Cooper was arrested in December of 2020 after Richardson County sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant in Humboldt.
An arrest affidavit says meth residue was found in a bag inside of a purse.
A Richardson County judge approved the search of Cooper’s residence on the testimony of a sheriff’s deputy who said he suspected that firearms were in the Grand Avenue house, despite Cooper’s felony conviction in 2000.
