FALLS CITY - The state will reclassify a half mile east of 630 Avenue on  708 Road. The road’s classification will go from minimum maintenance to local as requested by county commissioners.

Commissioners went into closed session regarding possible litigation. County Attorney Doug Merz, Deputy County Attorney Samantha Scheitel, Sheriff Rick Hardesty and Chief Deputy Roland Merwin attended.

Commissioners returned to regular session after 50 minutes.

The county board expects citizens to receive information next week about a survey regarding American Recovery funds. The survey will be available online at the county website or at the clerk’s office by Nov. 30.
