PLATTSMOUTH – Cass County sheriff’s deputies and Eagle Fire and Rescue responded to a Highway 34 accident Wednesday evening.

A Honda Accord driven by 60-year-old Donald Sheridan and a Chevy Tahoe driven by Scott Bahm, 63, collided.

Both drivers were signed off with medical and were not transported a hospital.

Elmwood Rescue took a Weeping Water man to CHI St. Elizabeth Hospital after a Highway 34 accident.

Investigators say Ronald Tietgen, 66, and Daniel Houchin, 58, were traveling westbound on the highway in a Dodge Durango when 71-year-old Brett Stubbs of Weeping Water attempted to turn from the highway to 358th Street.

The Durango left the road, rolled three times and came to rest in the north ditch.

The sheriff’s office says Stubbs was cited for failure to yield.
