Auburn restored Jaguar wins at AppleJack
Weiss restored car over three years in Auburn
NEBRASKA CITY – An Auburn man won the best of show stock at the 2021 AppleJack Car show with a Jaguar with plenty of style.
Jamie Weiss showed an E-Type, 1969 Jaguar that he restored in Auburn over three years.

Weiss: “It’s a classic Jaguar car. It’s been restored back to original condition, back to original factory color. I did all the work myself in my garage.”
His wife Dawn wanted a Jaguar and he found one to restore.

Weiss: “It rides nice. It’s a classic car. It’s a lot of fun. It definitely stands out in a crowd.”

There were over 300 cars registered for the show and trophies were awarded to the top 100.
The River City Classics Car Club traditionally awarded trophies in categories, such as best in the 1950s era or best pickup, but due to the pandemic in 2020 it was simplified to a top 100.
Show organizers expect the trophies to revert back to the classifications for next year.
