Trail of Treasures stretches flea market border to border
From Missouri to Colorado Byway 136
TECUMSEH - Trail of Treasures is a huge flea market, garage sale, antique sale along Byway 136 in southern Nebraska, an extending on 6 and 34 west to the Colorado line.
It is held the first weekend in October each year.
This is the 10th year for the event, which has attracted motorists from states including Oklahoma, Texas and Illinois.
The Byway was designated in 1999 from Brownville to Edison, Nebraska.
The original Byway was 10 counties and we have now have added 7 counties as Corridor Counties, namely, Dundy, Hitchcock, Otoe, Pawnee, Red Willow, Richardson and Saline Counties.
The tour includes estate sales and antiques, as well as repurposed, collectibles, shabby, vintage and primitives.
