Nebraska City gains over 400 yards on the ground

LOUISVILLE - The Louisville Lions built a 21 to 7 lead, but Nebraska City scored 34 unanswered points Friday in Louisville.

Louisville got back on the scoreboard for the first time in the second half in the closing minute of third quarter to bring it to within two scores 28 to 41.

Fourth quarter interceptions by the Pioneers' MJ Nelson and Braden Thompson ended the Lion's comeback hopes.
Nebraska City running back Bayler Poston rushed for over 200 yards.
MJ Nelson had 180 yards on 12 carries.
Louisville had 279 yards on 50 attempts. They were three of 10 passing.
