SYRACUSE – The Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department is inviting other fire departments to participate in a fundraiser for Eric Fass.
The Syracuse fire chief was injured in July while moving cattle and remains hospitalized.
The fire department is asking for fire department T-shirts that can be assembled together to make a quilt.
The quilt will be available at a Sept. 12 fundraiser.
The fundraiser includes a 1 p.m. rural poker run, 4 p.m. Orchard Hill BBQ, silent auction and raffle.
Fire departments with T-shirts to donate are asked to call Christa Reisdorff by Aug. 17 at 402-269-7353.
