Summer Sounds Friday at Legion Memorial Park
Opening ceremonies for Auburn Olympics at 6 p.m.

By News Channel NebraskaAUBURN – Summer sounds continues at Auburn Legion Memorial Park on Friday, Aug. 6.
Josh Cole will open for Country artist Pony Creek for the event from 7 to 9 p.m.
The Auburn Citywide Olympics are scheduled Aug. 6-7. Opening ceremonies are at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 6, at the park.
Events include a relay run, 3 on 3 basketball, inner tube polo, pickleball, flag football, homerun derby, KanJam,Tug-a-war and disc golf.
Closing ceremonies are at 3:30 p.m. at the Auburn Sports Complex.
Auburn Arts and Events will host the annual Auburn Strokes Plein Air Paint Out Sept. 28 to Oct. 2.
