North section from Peru to Nebraska City is open, but rough

By News Channel NebraskaPERU - The City of Peru has posted photographs of damage to the north section of Steamboat Trace trail on its Facebook page.
NRD crews have been working to clear the trail surface to open the north section from Nebraska City to Peru.
The city’s post says caution is urged because the trail is rough and should be avoided when it is wet.
The south section from Peru to Brownville remains closed because of damage from the 2019 floods.
