Downpour closes O Road

 SYRACUSE – Additional rain on Monday resulting in flooding and closure of O Road six miles south of Syracuse.

Water was running over the road in several places west of Highway 50.

The ground was already saturated from last week’s storms and received an addition 4 inches of rain over 60 minutes. Fields and fences were also washed out.

The community of Syracuse reported receiving .60.
