Masks optional at NC schools

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City Public Schools, Lourdes Central Catholic and the state education center issued a joint letter Friday announcing “green” protocols and saying that masks are optional.

Summer activities will operate under the green protocols beginning May 24.

Auburn Mayor Dan White canceled his Nov. 25 proclamation regarding face masks in indoor, public spaces.

On Friday, the mayor said lifting the mask recommendation was made in consultation with the Southeast District Health Department.
