Volunteer work set for trails day

SHUBERT – Nebraska Game and Parks is observing National Trails Day on June 5 with a volunteer event at Indian Cave State Park.

Volunteers will assist in trail restoration projects, including wood chipping trails, pruning encroaching vegetation, define corridors, erosion maintenance and general clean up.

Work begins at 8 a.m. and is expected to conclude at noon.
