Police make assault, weapons arrests

NEBRASKA CITY – Police have made recent assault and weapons arrests in Nebraska City.

Jordan Osborn, 18, of Nebraska City is suspected of punching his mother’s boyfriend on April 17.

Kathyrn Nolan, 30, of Nebraska City is suspected of using a butane fuel can to knock a roommate unconscious on April 15.

Randall Devorss, 54, of Nebraska City is suspected of possession of a deadly weapon on April 20.

Devorss told police that a knife and machete found in his vehicle were used for fishing. Police noted that there were fishing poles in the vehicle, but say the length of the blades were in excess of what Nebraska allows for felons.
