Indian Cave to host trick roping show

SHUBERT -  Indian Cave State Park will host the Trick Roping on the Wild West Show featuring Joan Wells.

The 11 a.m. show is scheduled Saturday, April 24 as part of the Humanities Nebraska Speakers Bureau.

Wells, a world champion at the 1979 Will Rogers trick roping contest, is a member of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Texas.

She earned her degree in physical education at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and performs Western-themed events at schools, stage shows and Wild West re-enactments.
