TECUMSEH - The Montz Motorcycle Museum and the International Female Ride Day members are planning an event for April 30 and May 1 at the downtown square in Tecumseh.

The IFRD is an organization to ensure the growth of women in motorcycling.  In the last 10 years, women riders have doubled in numbers, making almost one in five riders on the road female.

This one day event is devoted to all women riders of all levels of ability and ages to demonstrate their personal passion for riding.  Three levels of rides will be held.

Some of the activities include raffle sales, silent auction, music and entertainer Bill Chrastil and “Mini Bubbles” Susan Udero.

Bill Montz stated “they are expecting 1,000 attendees at the event.”

The Tecumseh IFRD Motorcycle Festival is a biker fundraiser to support survivors of human trafficking.  You'll meet and network with other women who ride and find support and camaraderie, fostering new friendships by participating in the women's rides offered Saturday, May 1.
