Meth arrests continue to pile up under Richardson County enforcement
FALLS CITY – The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports a drug-related arrest Thursday afternoon, following an additional search and traffic stop in February.
Scott Bachman, 48, of Humboldt is suspected of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of money during commission of a drug crime on March 11.
In other court matters, Colby Elms, 33, of Falls City is charged with possession on Feb. 26. An arrest affidavit says sheriff deputies served a search warrant at Charles Street in Falls City and found plastic bags and cotton swab Q-tips with meth residue.
Elms denies possession of the items at the apartment, where her purse and ID were found.
In a separate case, Kristin Clements, 40, of Robinson, Kan., and Robert Cole Jr., 41, of Salem are charged with possession of methamphetamine and illegal possession of firearm on Feb. 12.

An arrest affidavit says a Brown County K9 unit indicated to their vehicle after a Highway 75 traffic stop. They notified officers of a handgun in the vehicle and told deputies that the gun is legal in Kansas. Deputies found a loaded Ruger revolver under a blanket on the floorboard.
Deputies say meth was found on a scale and inside a plastic bag in the center console.
