PLATTSMOUTH - Rusty Coonts, 32, of Cedar Creek is charged in Cass County with possession of illegal drugs and a deadly weapon.

An arrest affidavit says deputies were dispatched Feb. 20 on a report of a man slumped over in  vehicle, but arrived to find Coonts driving near Ashland Road west of Plattsmouth.

A Bellevue K9 unit was deployed prior to a search of the vehicle, which deputies say yielded separate baggies of meth and a syringe, as well as several knives and a switch blade.
