Honeybee sculptures returning to Auburn

AUBURN – Auburn Arts and Events posted to Facebook Thursday regarding repairs to bee sculptures that had been the recent target of vandalism.

The damaged sculptures were repaired at Icon Poly in Gibbon, Neb.

One still needs work with the original artist, but the others are expected to be on their way back to Auburn.

Leslie Clark of Auburn Arts and Events said the sculptures add to the uniqueness and beauty of the community and will be “buzzing out and about again in now time.”

Three sculptures were targets of vandals between Christmas and the first of the year.
