Falls City school accepts Chromebooks
Elks Americanism Essay Conest winners
FALLS CITY – Falls City Public Schools are receiving Chromebooks through the Nebraska GEER program and report progress on the football stadium scoreboard.
Falls City has accepted 300 Chromebook devices valued at $84,000 through the the state technology device grant.
The school district indicated a need for Chromebook devices last fall and worked with Gov. Pete Ricketts’ office prioritized a need for the devices.
The school board received a building and grounds update at its Jan. 28 meeting.
Fundraiser for the football stadium scoreboard is progressing with over $18,000 received in donations. The school expects the scoreboard and delay of game clocks to be $26,000. There is also timing in the hundredth of a second for track meets.
