NEBRASKA CITY – Two Talmage men have been sentenced along with 26-year-old Chastity Pierce on drug offenses.

Pedro Flores, 32, of Talmage was sentenced in June to a year with credit for 212 days already served for possession of meth on Nov. 10, 2019.

Police say they were looking for Pierce and stopped  her vehicle when Flores was a passenger. Police utilized a K9 and say they located 2 grams of meth.

Trevor Rumery, 35, of Talmage was sentenced this week to 18 months probation for possession of Xanax.

Rumery was arrested after sheriff’s deputies stopped a car owned by Pierce, but driven by Rumery in Nebraska City. An arrest affidavit says police found a plastic bag containing crushed and uncrushed pills on the floorboard of the car.
