Storm watch follows today's ice advisory

OMAHA – The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory until 3 a.m. on Sunday and a winter storm watch until late Monday night.

The weather service says the weather advisory is for mixed precipitation and a glaze of ice.

The winter storm watch is for a forecast of heavy snow, with total accumulations of four to eight inches.

The advisory and watch are for portions of east central and southeast Nebraska.

Travel could be very difficult.

Nebraska counties impacted include Cass, Johnson and Otoe.
