COVID confirmed in 7% Cass County population

PLATTSMOUTH - The Sarpy/Cass Health Department reports 96 active cases in Cass County as of Wednesday morning.

There have been a total of 11,278 tests administered in the county, which is about 42 percent of the total population of 26,000. There have 1,843 confirmed cases, about 7 percent of the population.

The weekly positive rates in the county have dropped from a high of 40 percent on Jan. 2 to 29.9 percent Jan. 16.
