NEBRASKA – The state Department of Health and Human services reports over 49,000 vaccine doses have been administered in Nebraska so far.
Vaccine doses are targeted to hospital staff and health care workers, as well as paramedics and EMTs.
Falls City Mayor Shawna Bindle posted a photo of her vaccination as a member of the Atchison-Holt Ambulance District in Missouri.

Mayor Bindle said the vaccinations are part of the puzzle that keeps medical crews ready to go when the tones go off.
Nebraska plans to roll out a new dashboard this week to show total doses of vaccine given, as well as a breakdown of vaccines by age, gender, race and ethnicity.
