Woman says she was forced to sign over title to her car

FALLS CITY – A 56-year-old Humboldt man is charged with domestic assault and felony strangulation on Dec. 2.

Gary Hastings is accused of choking a woman and forcing her to sign the title of her car over to him. Court records say the woman went to a grocery store in Humboldt to call for help.
