Tigers and Eagles Split Games Friday Night

FALLS CITY- Falls City high school and Johnson-Brock high school split their double header last Friday. Johnson Brock's Girl's team won the first game of the night 47-31 behind junior Audrey Sandfort's 19 points. Senior Eryn Snethen was the leading scorer for Falls City with 8 points.
The eagles came out in the second half with a 2-3 zone that would give Falls City fits on offense. Johnson Brock's girl's team would improve to 2-1 on the season and Falls City is still searching for their first win of the season.
Falls City boy's team started off the second game of the night with a trio of triples from junior Carson Bredemeier. He would finish with a game high 18 points. The tigers would continue to increase their lead after a 12-0 run to start the game, and would head to the locker room up 30-12. The second half was more of the same from Falls City, with senior Will Vitosh chiming in with 15 points.
The eagles struggled shooting from the field in this game, averaging 56.5 points per game on the season coming into this game. Junior Caleb Fossenbarger and sophomore Nic Parriott were the leading scorers for Johnson-Brock with 13 and eight respectively.
Falls City would grab their first win of the season and Johnson-Brock finds their first blemish of the season after the trip to Falls City.
