Fire department hopes to reschedule Quack Off

AVOCA – The Avoca Quack-Off has been postponed due to COVID-19.

The annual duck racing event is a fund raiser for the Avoca Volunteer Fire Department. A Facebook posts says the 41^st event has been postponed in the interest of pandemic safety.

The Avoca Volunteer Fire Department posted that it is nowhere near the end of the popular quackoff and asks racers to stand by for a new date.
