Police credit social media tips for narrowing search for Fuller to Warrensburg

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City police credit numerous agencies and tips from social media for the capture of a Nebraska City man suspected of running over his girlfriend on Wednesday.
Police posted on Facebook that Joshua Fuller, 50, is charged in connection with an incident at Park E-Z trailer park. Witnesses told police that Fuller had been arguing with 44-year-old Shannon Robinson and got into his pickup truck. Robinson approached the truck and ended up beneath it and was hit by a rear wheel.
Police say Fuller did not stop to render aid for the woman, who remains in intensive care at an Omaha hospital.
Police Chief David Lacy said social media tips helped lead police to Warrensburg, Mo., where Fuller has relatives.
Lacy said Warrensburg police found Fuller’s pickup truck hidden and arrested him without incident.
The Nebraska City police Facebook posts thanks citizens, the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, Iowa State Patrol, Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshall Fugitive Unit and Warrensburg Missouri Police.
A county judge had previously placed Fuller under a no contact order for Robinson as terms of his bond. He was released from custody prior to Thanksgiving.
