Lourdes Stays With Full Attendance

NEBRASKA CITY – Lourdes Central Catholic acknowledge a change into the orange zone on the COVID-19 risk dial from Southeast District Health Department, but reports that no students or staff at the school have been confirmed with the virus.

A press release says the school will provide updates on upcoming activities, but will not adjust attendance requirements for the week of Oct. 19.

The press release says most of the exposure to COVID-19 in other schools is traced to non-school activities.

Fr. Jonathan Haschke of Lourdes Central says the school continues to encourage vigilance at home and during social events due to elevated risk in the community.
