First Responder Recognition To Start Tonight's Football Game
Sports boosters would start last home game with show of thanks

NEBRASKA CITY - Nebraska City Parks Commissioner and sports booster Patrick Wehling says a tribute to first responders is planned prior to the Pioneers’ football game tonight.
Wehling: “Tonight is the last home game of the season and we want to finish our last game by saying ‘thank you.’
There are over 30 fire and rescue members, four police officers, four deputies and five state troopers to be recognized.
Lights and sirens will greet the team and volunteers will carry the American flag onto the field.
The color guard is expected to present the colors around 6:45 p.m.
