SE District Moves COVID Dial To Orange

Health district places COVID-19 risk at its highest

AUBURN  - The Southeast District Health Department has moved the COVID risk dial into orange, the second highest alert level.

The dial was last at 1.75, but is moved to 2.18, the highest since the dial was implemented.

Over 41 percent of all COVID-19 cases in the Southeast District Health Department has come in the last 30 days.

The district reports a total of 563 cases and 233 in last 30 days.

19 percent are children under the age of of 19.

The COVID risk dial is up from 1.75 to 2.04 and in the orange. On New cases, 33 are in Otoe County, 16 in Nemaha and 11 in Richardson.

The risk dial remains in yellow in Otoe, Pawnee and Richardson counties.

It is at the verge of orange in Nemaha County with 1.96 and is in the orange in Johnson County with 2.04.
