Headbutt Gets Nebraska City Man Prison Time

NEBRASKA CITY – Christopher Wilson, 28, of Nebraska City was sentenced to two years in prison and 1 year post supervision release for assault on an officer on Aug. 1.

Court records say police arrested Wilson on a warrant out of Kansas alleging a Topeka Correction Facility parole violation. An arrest affidavit says that Wilson headbutted an officer after he was handcuffed.

He was also sentenced to 90 days for providing officers with false information.
